Today, February 28 middle school Scholar Bowl will have a match at 9:30 am
versus Cairo here at Meridian.
Any staff or students interested in working this summer for the Ullin Summer
League as an umpire, please contact Tanner Crow at 618-306-3910.
Attention ALL SENIORS & 8 th GRADERS: The cap, gown, and tassel is $34. The deadline is March 31 st .
There is a High School Softball Sign-up sheet in the front office any questions.
On Wednesday, March 8 th , ALL 8 th graders will be going on a field trip to SCC called “Welcome to the Real World,” departure will be at 8:30 am and we will return 1:30 pm. We will eat lunch at SCC.
On Thursday, March 9 th ALL sophomores will be going to SCC to take the Accuplacer test. We
will return before lunch.
On Monday, March 13 th , ALL 6 th graders will be attending a field trip with Men of Power, Women of Strength-Building Bridges. We will return at 2 pm.
On Monday, March 20 th , Upward Bound will be here during the lunch blocks.
USDA Summer Job Opportunity in Vienna for ages 15-19 you must have your own
transportation and enjoy working outside in the forest. For more information see guidance.
Attention Students: NO students should be on the stage unless you have permission to do so.
Senior Scholarship Opportunities!
All local and national scholarship have been distributed to seniors, if you need them they
will be in the Guidance office and the Meridian website under Guidance. Please watch for
deadline dates.
Activities:
21 st Century Enrichment Program in both building from 3-5 pm.
HS Cheerleaders will practice from 3-5 pm.
MS Girls Volleyball vs. Shawnee starts at 6 pm.
Elementary Girls and Boys Basketball at Cypress. (Girls play at 5 pm and Boys play at 6 pm).
HS Girls Softball will practice weather permitting.
HS Boys Basketball will practice from 3-5 pm.
HS Boys Baseball practice from 3:30-5 pm.
