The Seniors are selling Butter Braids and Cookie Dough. Orders are due March 17 th and will
be delivered on March 31 st , in time for Easter. SEE A SENIOR TO MAKE A PURCHASE!

High school Scholar Bowl Members, please bring your Scholar Bowl shirts
to Ms. Regina in the Guidance office.

March 13th-17th the SMILE Illinois Mobile Dental clinic will be in our district for dental
services.

On Monday, March 13th, ALL 6th graders will be attending the “Building Bridges” field trip
with Men of Power, Women of Strength. We will return between 3-3:30 pm.

Senior Scholarships that are due on March 15th are Buffalo Soldiers MC Scholarship, Illinois
Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship, and Hayden Farm Scholarship, please bring them to
guidance.

On Wednesday, March 15 th , there will be a JR Beta Club meeting at lunch. Students please get
lunch and come to Room 25.

Friday, March 17th is the end of the 3rd quarter. Students make sure you have all assignments
and projects completed and turned in to your teacher. Finish 3rd quarter strong!!!

On Monday, March 20th, Upward Bound will be here during the lunch blocks.

Student Parent Transition Night will be held March 20th from 6 pm-8 pm in the High School
Gym. Please come out and speak with Representatives from Local and State Colleges, Local and State Universities, Local 318 Operators Union, and others.

Juniors and any Seniors who have not taken the SAT, the SAT is coming up. However, you can
practice for the SAT on Khan Academy.com. Khan Academy is a free and personalized SAT
practice program that allows you to practice anytime. Our test date is for SAT is Wednesday,
March 22nd.

On Wednesday, March 29th, we will have an early dismissal at 11 am for School Improvement
Day.

Attention ALL SENIORS & 8th GRADERS: The cap, gown, and tassel is $34. The deadline is March 31st.

Any staff or students interested in working this summer for the Ullin Summer League as an
umpire, please contact Tanner Crow at 618-306-3910.

Any Seniors who has not completed their FAFSA need to make an appointment with Tammy
Capps at Shawnee Community College.

Attention Students:

NO students should be on the stage unless you have permission to do so.
Senior Scholarship Opportunities!

All local and national scholarship have been distributed to seniors, if you need them they will be
in the Guidance office and the Meridian website under Guidance. Please watch for deadline
dates.

21st Century Enrichment Program in both building from 3-5 pm.
