Monday, March 20, from 6 to 8 PM, Meridian High School will be hosting a Student Parent Transition Night for all high school students. Come and speak with Universities, colleges and the Operators Union 318. Parents and students will be put in a drawing for gift cards. Food will also be provided during this event.
Parents, if you come out and complete the essential survey for the school, you will be entered for an additional drawing for a gift card.

Our MCUSD 101 app keeps getting better and better! Parents/guardians who have already created a Rooms account can now access new app features like chat and class streams via web and in the app.

An additional $100 Book Blast shopping spree will be awarded to the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school; so, all hands on deck!”

The 3rd-8th Graders will be starting IAR testing the week of March 13th. The entire district is invited to participate in Spirit Week to help them get ready for the test!

There will be no school at Meridian School District Monday, February 20 in observance of President's Day. Students will return Tuesday, February 21.

Smile Illinois will be in the Meridian district the week of March 13. They will be available to examine students' teeth with parent's permission. The applications were distributed at students' enrollment and will be sent home next week. You may also access the application on-line at www.myschooldentist.com or pick up a form at either school. Dentists will clean teeth, apply fluoride treatment and sealants. Any other problems will be reported to parents. These dental exams qualify to meet the State Required exams for students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th and 9th grades
